BACKGROUND
Zomba Vocational Training Centre (ZVTC) is a non-profit making, non-partisan entity that was formed in February 2009. The organization was founded by a group of concerned youth who, at the time, was deeply displeased with the perpetual legacy of marginalization of young people and women in economic development policy and practice in Malawi and Zomba district in particular. With the emergence of a robust civil society, particularly after the democratization of Malawi’s political system, the distraught but resolute youth capitalized on the changing status quo and formed an organization whose mandate was to provide space for youth entrepreneurship, activism, promote youth and women’s role and visibility in local development and help in the fight against emerging health problems such as HIV and AIDS.
The organization has three programs namely: Health for all, Skills Development, and Sports development.
Applications are invited to fill vacant posts in the Skills development program.

The applicant in the Vocational section(Instructor) should be the holder of level 3 TEVET Advanced Certificate with three years of experience teaching in Vocational training institutions.
Those having Grade 1 Certified by Malawi Trade Testing with five years’ experience teaching in Vocational Colleges will have an added advantage.
The applicant in Librarian Post should be the holder of a Certificate in Library management certified by MALA and have one year of experience working in a training institution (Busy environment). Those having Malawi School Certificate of Education and 5 years of working experience in Library management from busy training institutions have an opportunity to apply.
